Dense Fog Advisory in Effect Until 9am

You could have a difficult commute this morning, as dense fog will reduce visibility to a quarter mile. The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 9 a.m.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Monday.

* VISIBILITY...Will drop to one quarter of a mile or less at times.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility will make travel difficult. Motorists
  are urged to increase their following distance and allow extra
  time to reach their destinations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of
you.
