I hope you enjoy the 4th of July holiday weekend as I much I did.  I've gathered up a few photos to share a few stories.

Ah yes, the summer holiday where we light lots of explosions and burn a lot of meat to show our spirit for 'Merica's Independence Day!

I ended up visiting family in Lynn Haven, Florida, a town located next to more famous Panama City.

The little town holds an annual parade which was loaded with politicians waiving signs and handing out candy.  Well, except for the Bay County Democrats lady who walked towards me and gave her self an out loud reminder, "candy is for kids only."  Boo to that!

Then, a guy followed behind her to offer a blue pencil.  He said, "it writes very well."  Basically, he said it would be among the greatest writing instruments to ever grace my fingers and a piece of paper.  Hey, let's try it!

A Republican group passed by with Trump signs and handed over stickers and candy.  I immediately sent a text to a guy who doesn't like him for a reaction.  Sure enough, he had a few choice comments.

I did enjoy seeing the skinny guy dressed as fat Elvis wearing a giant rubber-like wig.  This guy busted out the moves.

Oh, the pirate ship had me laughing prrretty harrrd!  It drove by with a cannon shooting out water, and the parade stopped as it nailed my mom in the face with water.  She was soaked.  Haha.

Later that night, the fam headed down to the park to catch the fireworks.
