Looking for a quick and easy meal that you can make in 30 minutes? Try my classic lasagna recipe!

My wife's birthday was last week, and lasagna is one of her favorite dishes. The timing just so happened to coincide with National Lasagna Day on Wednesday, July 29th.

Instead of the complex combinations of spices and other ingredients, I decided to go super simple.  Such as, relying on spaghetti sauce to provide the spices, instead of using canned/fresh tomatoes as the base.

After trying the new quick and easy recipe, I think it's a hit!  So good!

You may want to give a try, I outline everything below.

Here is what you will need:

1- lb. hamburger
1- 16 oz. box of lasagna noodles
2- 24 oz. jars of spaghetti sauce (I like using a chunky garden style sauce)
1- 15 oz. container of ricotta cheese
1- 16 oz. bag of mozzarella or Italian blend shredded cheese
1/2- cup of grated Parmesan cheese
2- eggs

Preparation:

-Brown hamburger meat
-Add 1.5 24 oz. jars of sauce to cooked hamburger
-Boil lasagana noodles
-Mix 1.5 cups of mozzarella cheese, with 2 eggs, 15 ounces of ricotta cheese, and 1/2 cup of parmesan
-In 13x9 baking dish, add thin layer of sauce, layer of lasgana noodles, 1/3 layer of bowl mixture (cheese), 1/3 layer of hamburger sauce. Repeat. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Cover lasagna pan with aluminum foil, add lasagna to oven, cook for 25 minutes.

That's it!

Give it a try, and let me know what you think in the comment box below. Also, if you adjust the recipe at all, I'd love to hear about that too.
