Little Debbie is celebrating its  60th anniversary this year. The maker of Little Debbie will be partnering with Kellogg's to release Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal.

Marty & McGee with ESPN's SEC Network had to ask Nick Saban, the head football coach at the University of Alabama, if he was going to try the new cereal. Saban said his daughter Kristen already texted him about it, and yes, he is looking forward to to trying his favorite treat in cereal form.

Saban is known to be an avid fan of the original oatmeal creme pies. In 2018 on media day, Crimson Tide defensive end Da'Shawn Hand took the microphone and started asking Saban some questions.  Hand asked the coach how many creme pies he eats a day?

"Two! Two is kinda, supposedly, my quota as soon as I get up in the morning. I had two today before the coffee pot was full," said Saban.

This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship between Little Debbie Cakes and Kellogg's.  There are a variety of Little Debbie Cakes that could turned into a delicious cereal.  Mini Nutty Buddy cereal bars with milk over the top sounds like a dream come true for serious cereal lovers.  Who wouldn't want to dunk donut sticks down in a bowl of cold milk.  The new possibilities are endless with this new combination.

The cereal will not be released until the holiday season. Kellogg's confirmed to Delish that the creamy oatmeal cookie cereal pieces will land in the stores shelves nationwide in December.  The proposed retail price is $3.99 for 9.1oz. box and $5.69 for a 14.5 oz. box.
