City School System Goes Ticketless This Football Season in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
The AHSAA football season kicks off this week in Tuscaloosa with games occurring throughout the city on Thursday and Friday night.
In an email to parents the Tuscaloosa City Schools announced that football tickets for Bryant High School, Central High School and Northridge High School will not be sold at the gates and can only be purchased using GoFan.
All three city schools will take on teams in the Tuscaloosa County School System in the opening week. Bryant hosts Tuscaloosa County High School, Northridge will host Sipsey Valley and Central will hit the road and go to Holt.
The Tuscaloosa City School's have decided to make masks optional at football games and other outdoor sporting events.
The three schools also get their volleyball seasons started this week in various locations. Northridge opens up in a tournament in Hoover, Central will host the Falcon Frenzy over the weekend and Central will be one of 16 schools participating.
Masks will be required for spectators watching volleyball matches.
