City Of Tuscaloosa Planning A Solar Eclipse Viewing Party
This City Of Tuscaloosa and the Tuscaloosa County Park And Recreation, are planning a solar eclipse viewing party next Monday, (August 21), on Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa.
In what is being called The “Solar-bration”, the event is free to the public and will last from Noon-2 p.m. Aug. 21.
The organizers of the event with be offering FREE solar eclipse-viewing glasses, ( available to the first 500 attendees). In addition, there will be food trucks at the plaza during the event. So, you don't have to worry about missing out lunch while you're busy checking out the solar eclipse.
Speaking of which, if you do happen to miss next Monday's solar eclipse, just know that you'll have to wait until October 14, 2023 for the next one!
