`While the recent changes to student-athlete compensation bring a multitude of questions and potential problems, it is a step in the right direction that has been a long time coming. As athletes all across the country continue taking full advantage of the new laws and regulations regarding name, image, and likeness, Alabama's Bryce Young is one of many utilizing the new situation to his advantage.

Per his Twitter page, on which he has 17 thousand followers and counting, Young will be partnering with Cash App, a mobile payment service. While the details of the partnership remain unclear, Young hinted at potential sponsored content that may come later in the summer, which could include a multitude of things, ranging from sponsored posts to merchandising opportunities.

Young, a former five-star recruit out of Mater Dei high School in California, is entering his sophomore season for the Crimson Tide and is expected to be the starting quarterback after sitting behind Mac Jones for a season in 2020.

One of the most highly touted recruits in recent memory, Young wowed fans and coaches alike with his incredible athleticism and show-stopping arm talent, leading to him selecting the Crimson Tide over a plethora of power five offers.

As possibly the most recognizable name within the Crimson Tide football program, Young quickly signed with CAA, an agency dedicated to helping athletes grow their brands and market themselves, and is already seeing the benefits.  Entering this season as an early Heisman favorite as well, Young has a chance to be one of the most sought after sponsorship opportunities for companies looking to reach out to college athletes.
