‘Broad City’ Season 4 Moves to September With Premiere Origin Clip
I’ve got good news and bad on the front of Broad City Season 4. To rip the bandage off, the already-delayed August premiere has now moved to September. Still, you can watch the first Season 4 scene right now, as Abbi and Ilana meet for the first time in 2011!
Where previously the Broad City Season 4 delay was announced to end on August 23 (after the Season 21 premiere of South Park), Comedy Central now confirms that the fan-favorite comedy will actually premiere on Wednesday, September 13. No immediate explanation was given for the change, though the series at least shared its Season 4 premiere clip of Abbi and Ilana’s first meeting, with a Sliding Doors-style twist
Otherwise bleeping Trump’s name, here’s the Season 4 synopsis:
Broad City returns with a new season of ten episodes that finds Abbi and Ilana experiencing New York City in a whole new way: in the dead of winter. In Season 4 Abbi and Ilana get new jobs, celebrate their Friendiversary, receive a visit from Abbi’s mom, trip on mushrooms, discover their witchdom, and travel to Florida.
Guest stars for the coming season included Steve Buscemi, RuPaul, Wanda Sykes, SNL alum Jane Curtin and Shania Twain. Comedy Central also renewed Broad City for Seasons 4 and 5 prior to the Season 3 premiere.
Broad City Season 4 will premiere on September 13, so check out the trailer below.
