At 6’1” and 226 pounds, Robinson is a bruising north and south runner, but also possesses great footwork and lower body quickness.

Robinson spoke this week about how Alabama has prepared him for the NFL. “Since day one, coming in with all those great players who eventually turned themselves into the NFL as high draft picks,” he said. “Just building confidence in myself, competing against those guys all day. Watching those guys go off to the next level and have great success. Having the opportunity to compete with those guys, just helps you build confidence to know that you have the ability to compete among the best and you just always want to stand out.”

The Tuscaloosa native played behind a number of NFL running backs including Josh Jacobs, Damien Harris, Najee Harris and Bo Scarbrough.

In an era of the transfer portal, Robinson patiently waited his turn and then took full advantage. He carried the 271 times for 1,343 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2021.  Robinson set an Alabama bowl game record with 204 rushing yards against Cincinnati in the Cotton Bowl. He was also a reliable pass catcher out the backfield 35 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns.

Robinson has shown the ability to be a three-down back at the next level and today’s performance helped reassure NFL scouts.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Kickoff is set 1:30 p.m. CT and will air on the NFL Network.
