This past weekend, the Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron continued their 2015 tour with a show over the Gulf of Mexico in Pensacola Beach.

The strategy for what is happening here is for one of the pilots to get the spectator's attention while another does what is called a "sneak pass." During this pass, the F/A-18 Hornet executing the trick will reach a speed of 700 mph, the fastest of the entire air show.

In this video, while onlookers are paying attention to one pilot doing a "slow pass," Blue Angel #5 storms by at around 20-30 feet from the ground. You'll notice when the camera operator turns after the pass, tents and umbrellas become victim of the jet's drag.

Definitely the wildest trip to the beach a lot of folks will take this year!
