Blue Angels Jet Crashes in Tennessee, One Fatality Reported
Hours after flying over the downtown Nashville on Thursday, a Blue Angels jet has crashed in Smyrna.
According to WKRN, the fire chief in neighboring La Vergne has confirmed that one of the planes went down around 3PM.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels were scheduled to perform at the Great Tennessee Air Show on June 4-5. Their official Twitter account shows that they had practice scheduled at 3PM at the Smyrna Airport.
UPDATE: Officials have confirmed that one person has died as a result of the crash.
