It's one thing for an up and coming band to get exposure on a national television show and another when the host raves about you. Last night, Birmingham's St. Paul & The Broken Bones appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman. Despite the bar being raised on expectations from the host, they exceeded it!

The late night funny man stirred up the HYPE in the most pressured filled and hysterical introduction for the band. It was extremely complimentary with a ringing endorsement, "the first time I heard this song, I was screaming 'til I cried." As posted on Facebook below.

This was followed by joking and basically telling the guys to not screw it up and everyone is counting on nothing but the best. Funny, but it could mess with your head. For St. Paul & The Broken Bones, it appeared to fuel them even more. The energetic performance by lead singer Paul Janeway in his white shoes had a Blues Brothers feel to it.

See it for yourself, below. Nice job guys!
