Happy Anniversary! Twitter Helps Beyonce and Jay Z Celebrate 9 Years

Today (April 4) is a national holiday - it’s Beyonce and Jay Z’s 9th wedding anniversary. All jokes aside, the power couple has been married for nine blissful years and they are still crazy in love.

To celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary, Beyonce posted a video on Tidal  for her 2015 song "Die With You", which she released on their seventh anniversary.

Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, went on her Instagram page to commemorate the wonderful occasion. The newly re-married matriarch herself posted a throwback photo of Bey and Jay at their wedding ceremony in 2008 looking very happy.

"9 years already??? Congratulations to the Carters on their Anniversary (thats my arm fixing the dress lol) Thats my minister Rudy Rasmus who married Solange, Beyonce and me," she writes in the caption.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, the Beehive (aka Beyonce's fans) celebrated Jayonce's 9th wedding anniversary with photo collages, celebratory tweets and best wishes.

"Happy anniversary to one of the true, lasting, and postive examples of black love. Jay Z & Beyonce, the Carters," tweeted one thoughtful fan. Another person wrote, "Congratulations to The Ruler of the Free World and her husband on their 9th wedding anniversary!"
