There are less than 43 days until the Alabama Crimson Tide take the field against Utah State for the first game of the 2022 season. The Tide is hard at work preparing for the season as they embark on a quest for the program's 19th national championship.

The Tide's motivation level after losing the 2021 national championship can be seen all over social media this summer. The latest evidence comes from arguably the best athlete on the team, backup quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Milroe, a redshirt freshman, is seen on his social media exercising in the Alabama weight room on Friday. He can be seen cleaning approximately 335 pounds like its nothing, proving just how explosive the young athlete is.

This social media video isn't the only big move he's made this summer. Milroe was baptized in a pool in early July, declaring his faith in Jesus Christ.

The Texas-native played in four games in 2021, just enough to maintain his redshirt status. He completed three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown, but also proved to be electric on the ground rushing for 57 total yards.

As if Milroe's video wasn't enough proof of the work the Alabama squad is doing, the Tide's Director of Applied Science Paul Constantine tweeted some impressive statistics from Friday alone. According to Constantine the athletes put in 50+ sets and produced the highest power numbers of the summer on Friday.

A lot of this week's media focus was on Atlanta and SEC Media Days, but it is evident the Crimson Tide is fully locked into earning redemption for last season's shortcomings.
