Tuscaloosa Police are searching for a man accused of shooting another man in the arm on Tuesday.

The man, Wydrekus Lamar Long, has been charged with attempted murder. However, he has not been located by law authorities.

The shooting occurred  at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the 2600 block of 20th Street. Police report the victim, (a 45-year-old male), told them his neighbor accused him of stealing the neighbor’s burn barrel, and then an argument ensued. Witnesses, along with the victim, told police that the man was shot when he walked away from the argument. The man was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment. Fortunately, is injury is not considered life threatening.
