Alabamians Brace for Much Colder Temperatures This Week
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and holiday weekend. We have some temperature changes on the way. As always, we wanted you to have a heads up. So, you can be weather aware.
Today and tonight, you can expect rain showers with a chance of a thunderstorm. According to the National Weather Service Birmingham, “colder air will move into Central Alabama” on Monday.
The big question, will West Alabama see any snow? At this time, the National Weather Service Birmingham let us know that “a few sprinkles or flurries may occur in the northeast before all the moisture exits. No accumulations or impacts are expected.”
Be sure to bundle up because the temperatures this week will be much colder than what you have been experiencing. There will be falling temperatures starting on Monday. Also, we need to factor in the wind chill temperatures as well.
