Alabama Remains No. 1, Miami Moves to No. 2 in Latest College Football Playoff Rankings
The College Football Playoff Selection Committee completed its fourth Top 25 rankings of the season.
The selection committee will prepare two more rankings, including the final set on Selection Day, Sunday, December 3. The top four teams in the final rankings will play in the Playoff Semifinals on January 1, 2018, at the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual and the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
“It was a week of stability at almost every level,” said selection committee chairman Kirby Hocutt. “The committee works off a clean sheet of paper. Each week we rank teams based on a full season of performance.”
The selection committee will continue to evaluate teams and will meet one more week before selection weekend to review game action and issue rankings.
