Cyrus Kouandjio was the first Alabama player off the board on day 2 of the NFL Draft. The offensive lineman went 44th overall to the Buffalo Bills.

Kouandjio's stock was high entering his junior year in Tuscaloosa, but injuries combined with underwhelming performances in offseason workouts led to him falling out of the first round.

The organization had Kouandjio graded higher than he was drafted and they shared that information on Twitter after the pick.

The tackle from Maryland will join former teammate Marcell Dareus in Buffalo. The defensive end was a first-round pick by the Bills in 2011 but has been dealing with some recent issues off the field.
