Alabama Now the #1 Team in the College Football Playoff Rankings

College football fans anxiously awaited the latest selection committee rankings following #1 Mississippi State's loss to Alabama on Saturday to see how the top four teams would shake out.

The biggest jump this week is the Crimson Tide, which moves up to No. 1 from outside of the top four just a week ago. With only two weeks left in the regular season, the College Football Playoff race has a top four of Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, and Mississippi State.

The Bulldogs, which lost by just five points a week ago, managed to hold on to a spot in the coveted top four at No. 4. The next three teams out are TCU, Ohio State, and Baylor.
