The University of Alabama hosted its annual Pro Day on Wednesday afternoon with 19 draft-eligible Crimson Tide athletes participating in front of 80 scouts representing all 32 NFL teams.

There were also numerous general managers and head coaches in attendance at today’s event. The list was highlighted by New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, the Lions’ Matt Patricia, the Bengals Marvin Lewis, and the Titans Mike Vrabel. NFL front offices were also well represented with the Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman, Washington Redskins President Bruce Allen, Panthers GM Marty Hurney, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert, Lions GM Bob Quinn and Titans GM Jon Robinson.

“We certainly have a strong group of players out there that have accomplished a lot,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said. “They have been great ambassadors for The University of Alabama, not only in the way they have competed on the field, but also in the way they represent the University and institution, so we are very proud of that. We wish them the very best, and hopefully the guys working out today will do extremely well and enhance their position in the draft.”

Draft-eligible players that participated in the day’s events included: Bradley Bozeman, Tony Brown, Rashaan Evans, Robert Foster, Joshua Frazier, Da’Shawn Hand, J.C. Hassenauer Austin Johnson, Jamar King, Calvin Ridley, Bo Scarbrough, JK Scott, Cam Sims and Levi Wallace.

Other players, including Anthony Averett, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Shaun Dion Hamilton, Ronnie Harrison and Da’Ron Payne, participated in meetings but did not work out.

The day began at 11 a.m. CT with heights, weights and measurements in the weight room. The players then followed with vertical and broad jumps, along with bench press for those who chose to participate in the particular tests. The Crimson Tide athletes then moved to the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility to test in the 40-yard dash, agility drills and position-specific drills for each respective player.

The 2018 NFL Draft will run from April 26-28 and will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
