The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) hosted a public involvement meeting on Thursday evening at Hillcrest High School.

The well attended meeting was organized to allow the public to talk with city representatives about the project to improve traffic at Skyland Boulevard and Alabama Highway 69 south. Representatives from ALDOT were also on-hand to answer questions and take comments from citizens about the proposed project.

A video of the proposed road design and flow charts were provided to show the project from several angles. In addition, Alabama Representative Rich Wingo, Senator Gerald Allen and Tuscaloosa County Commissioner Mark Nelson were at the meeting.

Here are a few pictures from the night's events.
