The Alabama Department of Public Health released an updated list of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Alabama Thursday afternoon, bringing the state's total number of cases to 77.

The highly contagious virus has yet to claim any lives in the Yellowhammer State, and Tuscaloosa County remained at four confirmed cases in the new report.

The ADPH added nine confirmed cases after its Thursday morning report. Four were in Madison County, three in Jefferson County, and one case a piece in Montgomery and Shelby Counties.
