Alabama is putting the finishing touches on one the top recruiting classes in school history, and one of the most outspoken commitments from this 2017 group is linebacker VanDarius Cowan.

The four-star from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has embraced the recruiting process on Twitter and has been one of the best recruiters for the Crimson Tide. Ever since he flipped his commitment from Florida State to Alabama, Cowan has talked to fellow high school prospects to sell his future school.

He joined The Game a week before National Signing Day to talk more about the recruiting process and what part he plays.

"If coach says go get that guy, I'm going to recruit him and do the best I can," Cowan said. "It doesn't stop me. I don't care if a kid is committed. I don't care if the kid is almost about to enroll, if coach says go talk to him, I'm going to go talk to him."

There had been some speculation on message boards and social media that Cowan might be considering a switch to Florida, but a video showing him getting an Alabama tattoo shut that talk down.

"My process has been over for a while," Cowan said. "I love Alabama and I'm looking forward to signing."
