Alabama continues to see a significant impact from the COVID-19 outbreak as the number of confirmed cases within the state climbs even higher in the latest update from the Alabama Department of Public Health.

The ADPH notes 1,841 cases of the novel Coronavirus have been confirmed in the state, and now every county within the state has at least one confirmed case of the virus. The agency has received reports of 45 deaths and has confirmed that 31 of those deaths were from COVID-19.

Tuscaloosa County now has 60 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus. The ADPH notes it has processed 769 tests in the county.

Jefferson County has 418 confirmed cases of the virus while Shelby County is home to 145 confirmed cases. Here is a breakdown of confirmed cases within the counties in our listening area:
