A California couple is blaming a FedEx driver for the death of their beloved dog.

They said that their tiny 4-pound Yorkie named Cooper was crushed by a heavy package that was thrown over their fence when it was delivered.

The package that landed on Cooper contained crystal and another Christmas present, Keiko Napier and Mitchell Galin told KCAL.

"I immediately picked up the box and Cooper was in a puddle of blood," Galin told the TV station.

The couple decided to euthanize Cooper the next day because of her extensive injuries.

"It was painful to watch your dog in pain," he said.
