50 Cent might have been keeping his main focus on Power over the past few years, but the "9 Shots" rapper is coming to BET with another new series. Back in April, Fifty announced he would be hosting a late night variety show called 50 Central, and now we finally have a release date.

The veteran MC announces on Instagram that 50 Central will be coming to BET on Sept. 28, following the news that the network has already acquired 24 episodes clocking in at a half-hour-long each.

"Catch my New Show 50Central on BET 9/28 we Lit 🔥. I'm taking over BET I'm getting rid of a few shows, and bringing some heat. #50Centralbet," Fifty writes.

This will certainly be a big shift for the hip-hop star, as he has been working consistently on Power, which is the highest-rated show on Starz. Recently, he spoke out against the network, as he believes they are mistreating the series. This week, three episodes from season four were leaked to the Internet by an unknown user, with some social media fans speculating it as an alleged attack at Starz following 50's comments.

While we're used to seeing Fifty take on roles in scripted films and shows, we will finally get the rapper in his signature, candid element.
