We're ready to rock for this B101.7 Flashback Friday, as we shine the spotlight on the 2004 winner of the Best New Artist Grammy Award!

In the early part of the 2000s there were a few rock rap bands coming of age with success. One of them being Evanescence led by the power vocals of Amy Lee!

This rock group hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas took over the world after releasing their debut album Fallen driven in popularity thanks to the world-wide hit, 'Bring To Me Life.' A song originally released in April of 2003, and features the male vocals of Paul Stone from the group 12 Stones.

Songfacts.com notes the song's meaning according to Evanescence lead guitarist Ben Moody:

Bring Me To Life is about discovering something or someone that awakens a feeling inside them that they've never had before. You discover there is a world that is bigger than just your safe bubble.
