The 15th and final season of American Idol has arrived, as we look back on all the champs through the years. Who is the ultimate Idol champ of all-time?

Through the years major careers have been launched by the singing competition TV show, and others who you've probably forgotten about. You have to say, the winners from the early years of the show made the biggest impact on the music charts. Specifically, Kellie Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

I bet it is safe to say you have totally forgotten about some of the winners who also had hits on the chart, like David Cook and Kris Allen.

Talent from right here in Alabama also found success, with Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks winning and Bo Hicks going deep into the competition.

The power of Idol proved to be strong enough for even those who didn't win to go on with successful careers. The names coming that come to mind are Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry. Believe it or not, Adam Lambert actually topped Forbes' 2015 list of top earning American Idols.
