This is one of the rare years that St. Patrick's Day falls on a Friday and Tuscaloosa will have plenty of green beer, live music, and drink specials ready to go.

While you'll have to go to Birmingham or Huntsville for an extravagant parade, you won't have to leave west Alabama to celebrate the Irish. Things might be a little quieter than usual because the University of Alabama is enjoying spring break this week, but there should still be good crowds around town.

Innisfree will be holding its 19th St. Patrick's Day Celebration. The Irish bar takes full advantage of this holiday every year.

Band of Brothers Brewing Co. will be have live music, a food truck, and of course they'll be serving green beer.

Rounders on the Strip will open its doors at noon to start the celebration. There's no cover and drink specials all day.

Black Warrior Brewing will turn its Bama Blonde green for the holiday.

The Gray Lady in downtown Tuscaloosa will open its doors at noon to serve up drink specials and complimentary Irish food. A place that serves up a popular Leprechaun drink is a fitting location to celebrate the holiday.

If you're looking for something kid-friendly to do on Friday, check out the Children's Hands-On Museum in downtown Tuscaloosa to 'Search for Shamrocks.'

If we missed anything, please send it our way and we'll add it to the list. Have a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day!
