Y'all ready for the first VIDEO edition of 'What's in My Bag?' I'm spilling out the contents of my obscenely large purse; take a peel at what I'm toting this summer! I purchased my new bag yesterday at Charming Charlie. I love that it's big enough to hold eighteen pounds of junk and makeup, and I seriously appreciate the optional cross-body strap. As my daughter gets bigger, it is getting SO much harder to hold her AND my purse. If I wear the bag cross-body, then it's PROBLEM SOLVED. As a person who has many problems, I take what I can get.

Anyway, here are a few random notes about the embarrassing amount of stuff I apparently need to live on the daily:

My sunglasses came from Target. They're now a year old. I don't know how they have survived this long. It's some sort of optical miracle. Like, my toddler should have Temper-Tantrum-HULK-SMASHED them by now, but we've defied the odds. UNREAL. Cue this themesong.

I think I bought my wallet at Target, too. I used to have a cooler one, but SOMEONE STOLE IT. It happened a year-and-a-half ago, and I'm still a little mad. At least the thief had the decency to scatter the rest of my cards in the Bruno's parking lot. Thanks, buddy! Nothing like a wet social security card and broken ID's to reassure your faith in humanity...

Let's move on to things that make me happy, namely MAKEUP. MAKEUP. MORE, MORE, MORE MAKEUP.

You know like 95% of my makeup comes from Sephora, so it's not like I need to delve further into that one. My Sephora addiction is getting out of hand. I need a SKINtervention. Sorry--bad joke. Whatever. Sometimes I think I should just send all my direct deposit info to them so I can just swing by on payday and be like, "I'll take that and that and that and that..."

Don't make fun of me for using that Sephora zip-lock as a medicine bag, either. I know that's a legit old lady move, but it's a smart one. My ibuprofen bottle somehow opened itself last week, and I was tossing out tabs like they were Mardi Gras beads. NEVER AGAIN.
