If you think Alabama might have forgotten about last year's national championship loss after taking care of Clemson on Monday, think again.

Crimson Tide strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran sent a clear message to the team as it prepares for a showdown with Georgia in the College Football Playoff Championship Game. As you can see in the video below, Cochran carries the runner-up trophy from Tampa last year and slams it into the ground. Not that much was left, but he followed it up by taking a sledgehammer to it just to drive home the message.

Be warned that the video is unquestionably NSFW.

Cochran, the motivational leader for the Crimson Tide, seems to rise to the occasion when Alabama takes on the Bulldogs. It's hard to believe 10 years have already passed since the infamous "funeral" comments ahead of the Blackout game in Athens during the 2008 season.

The Tide and Dawgs will do battle inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday night. Kickoff is set for 7 PM/CT on ESPN.
