The political season is in full swing, as primary elections have already been held, and general elections are on the horizon.  There is never a better time for one to regain the right to vote.

A voter restoration clinic is being held at St, Mark AME Church today from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Those who have been disenfranchised are encouraged to attend to gain information on how to restore their rights to vote.  Even if the process of restoration cannot begin today, it is good to get the necessary information to be prepared for when the opportunity comes.

Be sure to bring all necessary identification, and if you know of someone who has lost his or her right to vote, be sure to spread the word! As a matter of fact, make plans to carpool! And if by chance you've never registered to vote at all, feel free to stop by St. Mark.  Surely if you can gain information on how to restore the right to vote, you can register to vote.
