More than 30 Alabama athletes walk across the stage at graduation over the weekend after completing their degrees, including quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The junior did it in just three years while leading the Crimson Tide football team to two national championship games and most recently a victory over Georgia in the SEC Championship. His storybook finish earlier this month and his decision to stay in school despite losing his starting job have cemented his place in Alabama history, and the people in attendance on Saturday showed their appreciation Hurts when he walked across the stage inside Coleman Coliseum.

As you can see in the video shared by The University of Alabama on Twitter, his peers and their families and friends gave him a huge applause when his name was announced.

Along with Hurts, Alabama’s football graduates included All-Americans Isaiah Buggs, Ross Pierschbacher and Jonah Williams as well as Lester Cotton Sr., Damien Harris, Anfernee Jennings and Christian Miller. Other members of the Tide’s 2017 national championship squad set to earn their degrees are Elliot Baker, Joshua Casher, Miller Forristall, Derek Kief, Jamar King, Donavan Mosley and Ryan Parris. Casher, Kief, Miller and Pierschbacher are receiving their master’s degrees.
