Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox and Police Chief Anderson to Host Press Conference Today

Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox and Tuscaloosa Police Department Chief Steve Anderson will host a press conference this morning to address the recent string of homicides in the city.The press conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today (Thursday, January 14, 2016) in the community room of the Tuscaloosa Police Department headquarters on Trevor S. Phillips Avenue. The two will talk about the recent homicides in Tuscaloosa.

19 year-old Daniel Torry of Harvey, Louisiana was found dead yesterday at The Heights at Skyland Apartment Complex off of Skyland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa. The fatal shooting was Tuscaloosa's fourth homicide in just five days.
