The asteroid will come so close, that the Average Joe will be able to use their amateur telescopes to watch it pass through our skies either early morning hours or tomorrow night.  It has a reflective surface that is twice that of our moon, so there will be no mistaking it when you see it fly by.

Just how safe are we?  It will be over 1,000,000 miles away from us - 1,098,733 miles to be exact.  Feel better?

How big is it?  It's estimated its about 60 times bigger than the asteroid that penetrated the skies of Russia back in February, 2013.  Remember all those YouTube videos?

So, get your telescopes ready and possibly your cell phones.  It may be (or not be) spectacular!
