The National Weather Service has issued the following weather alert:

.SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN MARENGO...WEST CENTRAL
PERRY...SOUTHEASTERN GREENE...SOUTHERN HALE AND SOUTHEASTERN SUMTER
COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT...

At 404 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Arcola to near Coatopa. Movement was east
at 20 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Demopolis, Greensboro, Uniontown, Newbern, Faunsdale, Greensboro
Municipal Airport, Duffys Bend, Arcola, Coatopa, Dug Hill, U.S. 80
and AL 28, Old Spring Hill, Belmont, Morgan Springs, Demopolis Lock
And Dam, Gallion, Folsom, Lilita, McDowell and Bellamy.
