Tropical Storm Cindy continues to move inward, and severe storms and isolated tornadoes are possible as the storm continues its track across the southeast.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has placed most Alabama counties in a Flash Flood Watch through 7 p.m. this evening as heavy rainfall is possible throughout the day. The southernmost counties in our listening area (Bibb, Greene, Hale, Perry) are under a Tornado Watch until 1 p.m. this afternoon.

Severe storms are likely today and tomorrow; we'll continue to keep you updated as the forecast changes. Take a look at the latest Weather Xtreme video from Chief Meteorologist James Spann below for a more in-depth explanation of threats from Tropical Storm Cindy.
