Registration for the city of Tuscaloosa's 13th annual Mayor's Cup is now live, and runners who sign up before the end of January can save $10.

The 5K race through downtown Tuscaloosa will take place on April 27 and is open to participants of all ages and experience levels.

Founded in 2007, the Mayor's Cup has raised move than $272,000 for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative, which aims to expand education and health services for academically at-risk children and their families.

Racers can register for $15 at tuscaloosamayorscup.com until January 31st, when the price will rise to $20. On April 1, the price jumps again to $25 per person.
