I Had The Greatest Birthday Weekend Of All Time [PHOTOS]

I dropped an armful of clothes onto the floor of a crowded TJ Maxx and shrieked like a crazy person. Everyone stared. Want to know why?

I have had the best birthday weekend: THE BEST. I spent Friday through Monday with friends and family, and it was awesome.

I started celebrating Thursday with my BFF/work wife, Leslee. We grabbed lunch (coal-fired pizza at Bob's Victory Grille!), and we went to TJ Maxx. I had grabbed a few things and stopped dead in my tracks when I approached the fragrance and beauty section.

I dumped everything in my arms and make a high-pitched SQUEEEEEEEEE as I ran. Everyone was staring at me as I hollered like a dying pig, but I did not care. I had found The Precious.

See that? It's Eternity Purple Orchid, a limited release from Calvin Klein. It was THE ONLY perfume I wore when I was in college, and it's one of my absolute fave fragrances of all time. It hasn't been available in retail settings in YEARS. The only place I'd found it was like eBay, where a full size bottle was $250.

You better believe I snagged that sucker. Do I care that it's probably ten years old? NO. It still smells like heaven, and now it is mine--all miiiiiiiiiiine.

I got to spend most of the weekend with my family, and it was great! Our schedules are so jam-packed, it's special to have time to relax and unwind at home. I helped Dolly (my two-year-old) dye Easter eggs for the first time. Check out our work station!

And behold the finished product; Dolly was SO PROUD of her "pretty eggies."

For my birthday, I hit up my favorite store with my favorite person; my BFF, Tia, and I went to Sephora. While there, I got a mini-makeover from Morgan, my beauty guru; she used Too Faced's new SugarPop palette to create a sexy smokey eye. I felt like a million bucks--look at that shadow!

Total babe alert!

Tia and I went to Whole Foods in Birmingham last night, and I stocked up on just straight up JUNK: tiramisu, caramelitas, cookie bars. Happy Birthday to me, right?

Tia even surprised me with an awesome present--a roller of my newest perfume obsession: L'Eau D'Issey Florale! The rollers of this perfume are like IMPOSSIBLE to find (even online!), but Tia drove all the way to Big Sephora in Birmingham to nab this sucker for me. Seriously--I have the BEST BFF.
