New Beauty Obsession: Loreal Paris’ ‘Magic’ Collection

I am ALWAYS on the go, y'all. Like, always. I work full-time, and now that my daughter is crawling, I am constantly chasing her around the house. When the weekend rolls around, I am working or cleaning or going somewhere. Momma never gets her beauty sleep but she's still gotta shine, which is why I am officially obsessed with Lóreal Paris' "Magic" collection.

I'm not trying to humblebrag here, but I receive a lot of compliments on my complexion. I always say thank you and attribute it to my good genes, but inside I am laughing, "It's all Magic, you fools! No one shall ever know my secret!"

Now you know my secret: it's too good NOT to share. The Magic Collection is seriously THE BEST makeup you can buy for the price. It leaves you with luminous, glowing skin--and it's at a drugstore near you.

First up is the Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base. It is lightweight and lasts all day. The Perfecting Base lives up to its name--it fills in any fine lines and wrinkles, leaving you with perfect skin. It also serves as a mattifier which keeps oil from wrecking your game.

I say buh-bye to any blemishes or redness with the Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Anti-Redness Primer. Don't be freaked out by the fact that it's green. Green is opposite red on the color wheel, so it works to neutralize any redness in your complexion. The result is an even skin tone.

The next step in my makeup routine is the Magic Lumi Highlighter. I love this product so much. You don't even KNOW. When I wake up, I have huge dark circles under my eyes. The Magic Lumi Highlighter works as a concealer to cover the under eye area, but it does more than that--the liquid makeup is infused with illuminating pigments to make you GLOW. You can use the Magic Lumi Highlighter anywhere, but it is a miracle worker for my under eye area. It brightens my complexion, helping me look wide-awake and radiant, two adjectives that hardly ever describe me these days...

The True Match Healthy Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation isn't technically part of the Magic Collection, but it should be. This is by far the best liquid makeup I have used in a loooong time. It contains Vitamin C to help boost your skin's natural brightness and what Loreal calls "liquid light technology for a luminous glow." It WORKS. I don't know what makes it work (ground unicorn horn? fairy dust?), but it does. Flawlessly. Using the Healthy Lumi foundation gives me a face that looks refreshed, younger, and full of life. It is my magic potion. I will be a loyal customer until the day I die.

My other "radiant" beauty faves aren't Lóreal products, but I have to share anyway. Benefit's Posietint is my JAM when it comes to cheek color.
