Justin Timberlake Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of ‘Filthy’ Video
The futuristic visuals have already racked up over 7 million views and now the singer is revealing how the video was made. On Saturday (Jan. 6), Timberlake shared behind-the-scenes footage from the "Filthy" shoot.
Rocking a motion-capture suit, the singer can be seen doing all the moves for the robot in the video. "Making of a [robot]," Timberlake wrote in the video's caption.
In the actual music video, Timberlake takes on a Steve Jobs-like role, presenting a dancing robot at the fictional 2028 Pan-Asian Deep Learning Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While his upcoming album appears to have a country theme, "Filthy" is a futuristic track with a synth-heavy sound.
Along with the "Filthy" video, JT recently revealed the tracklist for his upcoming project, Man of the Woods. The 16-song tracklist was shared on Twitter and includes two features from artists listed as "A.K." and "C.S." It was later revealed the initials belong to Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton.
Along with Keys and Stapleton, Timberlake will also collaborate with producers The Neptunes and Timbaland. A press release for the album also revealed the singer plans to release three more videos ahead of the album's Feb. 2 release date.
