The University of Alabama already had 15 players signed for the 2018 class when the day began, but Nick Saban and his staff want to close strong on National Signing Day.

If you missed the first 15 signees that made it official during the early period back in December, you can see that list here. Now we're tracking the players that come in on the traditional signing day on the first Wednesday in February. We'll update this page as the national letters of intent roll into Tuscaloosa so check back.

Alabama began the day ranked between 4th and 6th nationally depending on the recruiting service you prefer, but there's optimism that the program could climb up those rankings on signing day.

Here are the list of players that are officially a part of the Crimson Tide program.

First up was 3-star defensive back Eddie Smith, who announced his decision earlier in the day.

The 17th player added on Wednesday was 3-star linebacker Jaylen Moody out of South Carolina.

The 18th player for the class of 2018 might end up being one of the top players on the team before he leaves Tuscaloosa. Five-star cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. is considered one of the top 10 players in the nation.

The 19th player in the class is 3-star tight end Michael Parker out of Huntsville.

The 20th to sign was 5-star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle out of Texas.

All of the 2018 National Signing Day coverage on Tide 102.9 and 100.9 is presented by Tuscaloosa Tire & Service.
