Having An Eye Infection Has Added Style To My Life

There's an upside to everything, I guess...

I have a super nasty habit of sleeping with my contacts in and that habit finally caught up to me, the other morning I woke up with eyes still shut. Kinda freaked out I stumbled to the bathroom and had to pull my eyes open. When doing this, I scratched my cornea and instantly felt pain in my eyes. On top of all that, I had swelling in both of my eyes. So i looked like a 1970's Irish boxer with two black eyes -- very attractive. Yada yada yada, I went outside and couldn't see anything due to the sensitive sunlight hitting my eyes.

So I did something I never thought I would do, buying sunglasses. My whole life I thought sun glasses were all about fashion and not about the actual use to help block out the rays of that giant ball of fire in the sky. I went to Walgreens, bought a cheap pair of sun glasses and haven't looked back since.  I'm telling you, If I had worn sunglasses back in college, I would be rolling in the hay with randos like CRAZY. I look so different but good with sunglasses on, I gonna make this a thing into my style.

The moral of the story is this -- get an eye infection and bad a bad ass pair of glasses.... Just kidding... Try something new that you were always afraid to do!
