Flashback Friday: Spice Girls ‘Wannabe’

The most successful British girl group of all time is in the spotlight this week! This Flashback Friday dips back to 1996 and the #1 debut smash hit 'Wannabe' from the Spice Girls.

The group is made up of Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham, née Adams ("Posh Spice"). This past Wednesday (8/6), Mel B. appeared on the popular TV show ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ talking about the girls.

When asked by a caller who her favorite Spice Girl is, Mel B. answered by saying she is tight with everyone, but singled out Mel C. as the tightest. Then, host Andy Cohen asked about the rumored friction with Victoria Beckham. Mel B. explained, “they always say that. I think because we just get in fights every now and again, but then we always make up.”
