Here are family fun things to do around Tuscaloosa over the Easter weekend!

Naturally there would be Easter egg hunts in the mix. Actually, all three events covered this week offer egg hunts for the kidos!

Easterfest hosted by First Wesleyan Church:

Activities include an Easter Egg Hunt with over 27,000 eggs as well as games, inflatables, a rock climbing wall, live music, a petting zoo, and food!

10 a.m. at Snow Hinton Park

Hospice of West Alabama Family 5K Run/Walk:

Participate in honor of a loved one and support hospice.  There will also be an egg hunt for kids, 30 vendors, food and drinks, as well as a live band.  This is also an official Tuscaloosa Track Club Grand Prix event.

7 a.m. registration ($20) and check-in

8 a.m. race starts at Hospice (located on the campus of the VA Medical Center Tuscaloosa)

Southern Ale House Tails and Ales supporting Alabama SPCA:

  • 11:30 a.m.–Egg Hunt for children ages 5 and under
  • 12:15 p.m.–Doggie Talent Show
  • 1:30 p.m.–Egg Hunt for children ages 6-12
  • 2:00 p.m.–Doggie Costume Contest
