DCH Foundation Schedules Their Annual Play Pink Event

The DCH Foundation will be hosting two events to raise money for The DCH Breast Cancer Fund.

The event series begins with A Day on the Courts tennis tournament on October 5th & 6th and ends with the Drive 4 the Cause golf tournament on October 8th.

With the recent upsurge in Covid-19 cases, the DCH Foundation is taking several precautions to assure the safety of all participants and spectators.

Play Pink A Day on the Courts Tennis Tournament:

• 2 day tournament
  • Players will only play one of the two days based on their level of play
• Club house will be closed aside from using the restrooms
• 6 ft. social distancing during meal time will be strongly encouraged
• Wearing face coverings when not on the court will be strongly encouraged (and provided)
• Shopping with any vendors will be in front parking lot under tents
• We will have a bartender who will fill cups of water or get your drinks from the cooler to limit exposure
• Registration will have a plexiglass shield to protect both staff and participants
• Meals will be boxed/to go
• Hand sanitizer and wipes provided on covered patio and throughout complex to encourage cleanliness and limit exposure

Play Pink Drive for the Cause Golf Tournament:

• Meals will be boxed/to go
• Registration will have a plexiglass shield to protect both staff and participants
• Wearing face coverings  at all times when not in play will be strongly encouraged (and provided)
• Only one person per cart. Alternating one person walking per hole.
• Signage in each cart to promote face coverings
• Shoot out with signage and announcements regarding social distancing
• Beverage cart managed by one person driving to limit exposure
• Sanitizer and wipes provided in each cart to clean hands and wipe down any beverages that have been touched by others
