The new year didn't start as planned for Boots the cat, it's time for a reboot, and you could be the one to make it happen! Meet our B101.7 Pet of the Week with the Humane Society of West Alabama!

You can never wrong with a pet name which plays into a song. Take Boots, that instantly brings the old Nancy Sinatra song to mind. You know, the song 'These Boots Were Made for Walking.' So, what do I do, sing a song to the cat. Was he impressed? Ah, well, not really. Haha. It's on the video.

First, let get to more on Boots. Our local Humane Society says, "boots is a very tall, handsome adult male who was recently returned to us after being adopted eight years ago. Due to a divorce situation he is now at the shelter once again. that due to a divorce situation, he's now at the shelter once again. Poor Boots! He is a friendly, calm cat that loves attention. All he really wants is to be loved on and petted. What a sweet boy!"

Boots is negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and neutered.
