I’ve been in in the radio business for 28 years now and have spent time working just about every format as you may know. You and I may know each other from my time on 95.3 The Bear, maybe from my days at Z100.5 or maybe you’ve just now heard of me. Regardless, I have a cool job and get to meet some amazing people. When I’m not on the radio I like to go to shows, collect vinyl, fundraise for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and drink beer. I love craft beer and I’m amazed every day at how far the state of Alabama has come with their beer laws in such a short time. Maybe you’ve had the Monk on the Radio Belgian Blonde from Band of Brothers Brewing Company? Yeah, it’s named after me and it’s literally the coolest thing that may have ever happened to me. Other random facts you may be interested in: I’m a Maryland born/Mississippi raised, picky pescatarian. I believe that climate change is real, and that Jennifer Lawrence’s laugh can heal. The first Sex Pistols record changed my life as did Fruity Pebble doughnuts. I like dogs but love cats. My favorite movie is Sling Blade and fav color is blue. I honestly do like long walks on the beach as well.
